Art and Construct…..art of construction …..With this object, our concept got a new intensity. Faithful to the style of DBG Art und Bauen GmbH, we combined old with new styles and a new piece of art was produced.

Art nouveau meets is state of the art.

It took bijan a. ghassabei plenty of time, money, patience, and tenacity to keep the authenticity of this cultural monument at 100%. In spite of all this, he never lost his sense of humour and put all his love and creativity into endlessly complex and extensive structural alteration works.

Inside the building are 21 extravagantly designed apartments, which are almost fully furnished. Every apartment has its own character..

All floors are accessible with a glass elevator. On the ground floor of the house is the Grand Asia Restaurant. The fine Asian restaurant combines three different Asian cuisines. The building on Taunusstraße No: 22 is a cultural monument that was built around the turn of the century.
During construction, a break through between old and new building connected the two buildings with each other.
In the space between the buildings a light and quiet inner courtyard was formed. The apartments are reachable through access balconies. A glass roof covers the basement part of the inner courtyard..

Alteration / Restoration / Modification works

1992 - 1998
Damages found at the building demanded basic gutting, alteration, restoration and structural measures from basement to top floor of this cultural monument.
Dismounting of all old sanitary, electrical and heating elements, built-in cupboards, supply and waste disposal line as well as all floor-, and roof covering, baseboards, partition walls and all other displaceable objects.
Furthermore, we removed all old installations of bathrooms, WC´s, and kitchens.
Since 1991, the house owner and builder made the building Taunusstraße No. 22 one of the most beautiful cultural monuments of Wiesbaden.
That is why they call it “Pearl of Wiesbaden”.
We have over 2,800 pictures, which keep a record of all building measures, as well as the construction of the new building, from turning the first sod until full furnishing.
